Harcourt Trophies Reading

Our school district started using the Harcourt Trophies a few years ago for grades K-3.  We use it as a shared reading component and supplement our guided reading with the Harcourt guided reading selections. 

Our district just purchased Harcourt for grade 4 and 5. I will be adding some resources for these grades in the upcoming months!

The teachers seem to enjoy the program and the students are showing improvement.  We have other reading programs that we also include into our reading block such as Message Time Plus and Children's Literacy Initiative read alouds.  I have found some useful sites that might help when planning.  Please email any additional sites and I'll be sure to add them to the list : )
